New footage released for Thor: The Dark World
First there was the teaser in April, then the full length trailer earlier this month, now Marvel has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the forthcoming Thor sequel. Featuring interviews with cast and crew detailing what to expect in the new film, there's also footage of some of the epic set pieces and Chris Hemsworth doing serious damage with his trusted hammer.
The film was shot at UK studios Longcross and Shepperton, with a few scenes filmed in Iceland. And as well as plenty of blue screen filming in the featurette, you'll also spot some action at Stonehenge and Greenwich's Old Royal Naval College.
The cast includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin and Christopher Eccleston as Malekith. Game of Thrones veteran Alan Taylor is in the director's chair.
Thor: The Dark World is released here in the UK on 30 October, and if this footage doesn't satisfy your Thor cravings, you can also see some stills of the film over on our sister site KFTV.
