American/Canadian actress Laurie Holden, who stars in hit US zombie drama The Walking Dead, is executive producing Honeytrap, filming in London this summer.

The feature has been partly financed by crowdfunding, and is from producer Sarah Sulick and writer/director Rebecca Johnson of Bright Pictures and Fierce Productions respectively.

Loosely based on real life events, the film explores various aspects of gang culture, seen through the eyes of teenager Layla. Shooting is for four weeks from mid-August.
