Veteran Sir David Attenborough will examine nature”s extraordinary evolutionary anomalies in a new series for UKTV”s natural history channel Eden. From the platypus to the mole rat, each episode of David Attenborough”s Natural Curiosities will look at two creatures with distinctive evolutionary adaptations linked together with a common theme.

The series was commissioned by UKTV”s senior commissioning editor Catherine Catton and ordered by Eden”s general manager Adrian Wills. Stephen Dunleavy from Bristol-based Humble Bee Films will be executive producer for the 5×30 series.
