New members join Production Guild board

An entertainment lawyer, a post-production supervisor, a production executive and a unit production manager are to join the board of industry body the Production Guild. In addition to the new appointments, the Guild have also launched PGVision, a new training platform for the production sector offering ‘how to’ videos online.
The line-up comprises Wiggin LLP entertainment lawyer Charles Moore, post-production supervisor Gisela Evert, production executive in the drama division of ITV Studios Julie Burnell, and unit production manager and post-production executive Marianne Jenkins.
Commenting on the new members, Kevin Trechy, chair of the Production Guild said: “I am delighted to welcome Charles, Gisela, Julie and Marianne to the board as they augment the level of expertise and knowledge that the Production Guild offers to its members and the industry and represents the breadth of the guild’s membership.”
The new training course, PGVision, will offer training videos for those working in production financing, production management, budgeting and accountancy. The first video available is a recording of the Guild’s seminar on how to understand the TV tax relief, which took place in May at Pinewood Studios.
