Luke Evans, Milla Jovovich begin filming sci-fi thriller in Northern Ireland
Filming gets underway in Northern Ireland this week on a new sci-fi thriller starring Luke Evans and Milla Jovovich.
Brad Anderson directs World-Breaker from a screenplay by Joshua Rollins; Martin Brennan of 23ten produces. The film is supported by Northern Ireland Screen.
The story centres on a father and daughter as he struggles to defend her from creatures that have arrived from an alternate dimension, determined to destroy the world. He hides his daughter on an island and prepares to do battle for their survival…
International sales company The Exchange introduced the cast at this year’s EFM in Berlin. Nat McCormick, The Exchange worldwide sales and distribution president, said of the package: “Led by two of the strongest stars in the genre and under the direction of the uber-talented Brad Anderson, ‘World Breaker’ is a must-have packaged movie with very strong universal commerciality.”
