Alex Garland’s Devs to film in the UK
A major new drama series from Alex Garland, Devs, is setting up to film in the UK for FX.
The eight-episode project marks the TV drama debut of the writer/director (pictured), best known for Ex Machina and Annihilation.
In Devs, a young computer engineer – played by Sonoya Mizuno (Ex Machina, Crazy Rich Asians) – investigates the secretive operations of her San Francisco tech company employer, whom she believes is responsible for the murder of her boyfriend.
Garland will also executive produce for the UK end of things alongside DNA TV’s Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich.
