Pudsey gearing up for feature debut
Pudsey, the canine winner of 2012's Britain's Got Talent, is readying to become a star of the silver screen.
Perhaps inspired by Uggie's performance in Oscar-winning The Artist (the little Jack Russell won the Palme Dog Award at Cannes and has since had his memoirs published), the multi-talented Pudsey is set to steal the international canine limelight.
Pudsey is the latest in Simon Cowell's arsenal of talent show winners to be the subject of a feature film, with James Corden playing Paul Potts in One Chance, and talk of a Susan Boyle biopic regularly doing the rounds.
From Cowell's Syco Entertainment and Vertigo Films, Pudsey The Movie is due to shoot from early September, with the production office based at Elstree Studios.
