Cosgrove Hall's Mark Hall Dies

  • News

Cosgrove Hall co-founder Mark Hall has died at the age of 74. One of the UK animation industry’s most admired and well-liked figures, Hall is best known for creating Danger Mouse with friend and partner Brian Cosgrove.

However there were many more animation credits including The Wind in the Willows and Count Duckula.

For a large part of its existence, Cosgrove Hall belonged to ITV – and there’s a general feeling that the broadcaster didn’t make as much of the Cosgrove Hall brand as it might. In 2008, ITV shut the studio down, though it has since been reopened as Cosgrove Hall Fitzpatrick and begun work on preschool series Pip!
