A new musical feature from Netflix, Jingle Jangle, is setting up for a UK shoot next year with David E Talbert directing from his own screenplay.

Forest Whitaker stars in the film as Jeronicus Jangle, a once-great inventor who has lost his belief in himself and his inventions.

He stumbles upon a second chance when his granddaughter comes to town for the holidays.

Singer/songwriter John Legend produces alongside Mike Jackson – the pair executive produced this year”s Emmy award-winning Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert. The other producers of Jingle Jangle are David McIlvain, David E Talbert and Lyn Sisson-Talbert.

The executive producer is Ty Stiklorius, who worked with Legend and Jackson on Damien Chazelle’s multi-award-winning 2016 musical La La Land.
