Channel 4 has commissioned a factual series about the world of extreme luxury.

Brighton-based Crackit TV is producing Inside the World’s Most Luxurious… that takes a look at global examples of the highest-end experiences, venues and destinations.

Narrated by Tracy-Ann Oberman, each episode of the six-part run will focus on a different aspect of super-rich lifestyles, including island escapes, palatial homes, superyachts, multi-million-pound motorhomes and bespoke travel – all at eyewatering prices.

Inside the World’s Most Luxurious… is commissioned for C4 by Deborah Dunnett, commissioning editor, lifestyle, with Jo Street, director of commissioning, nations & regions & head of lifestyle. Elaine Hackett and Jon Connerty executive produce.

Hackett, CEO of Crackit TV – the prodco’s credits include Supercruising: Life at Sea and Crime Scene Cleaners – said: “This series has been a dream to bring to life —from filming in some of the most breathtaking locations on earth, to capturing the fascinating stories behind the luxury. We’re delighted to showcase the scale, detail, and ambition that defines this extraordinary world.”

Dunnett added: “We’re thrilled to be working with Crackit TV and can’t wait to see them bring some of the world’s most luxurious experiences to life on screen. I’m looking forward to seeing how the other half live and having the chance to dream!”
