The UK’s hub for the creative industries is scheduled to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026

Taking place at The Grand Hall, Olympia London on 13–14 May 2026, the 10th edition of The Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) will feature an expanded line-up of highlights and partnerships, marking a decade of growth, innovation, and community for the media, production, and technology industries.

This year’s event will introduce several new and dynamic elements, including a Content Creator Stage, a live podcast studio, and an additional networking bar. Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience the Post Production World Conference Europe (PPW Europe), brought to you by Future Media Conferences (FMC).

For the second consecutive year, MPTS will span both levels of Olympia’s Grand Hall, expanding the upstairs area to include a dedicated networking zone for content creators, a new bar, and more spaces designed for informal meetings, collaboration, and “work from anywhere” opportunities.

As MPTS celebrates its 10-year anniversary, it continues to evolve into the UK’s most comprehensive event of its kind. The upcoming milestone not only highlights the introduction of features such as the Content Creator Stage and live podcast studio but also reinforces MPTS as the go-to hub for collaboration, training, and forward-looking conversation with the arrival of PPW Europe.

What’s New for 2026

  • Content Creator Stage & Networking Hub – spotlighting short-form video, influencer marketing, platform innovation, and creator–brand collaborations.
  • Live Podcast Studio – hear directly from leading voices in media and entertainment and see podcasting in action with live broadcasts.
  • Post Production World Conference Europe – two full days of hands-on sessions with global experts, including a brand-new AI Innovation Track.
  • SMPTE Media Technology Conference – moving to an expanded ground-floor space to explore ground-breaking trends, transformative innovations and the future of global media technology.

Even More to Explore

Beyond these exciting additions, MPTS 2026 will feature seven other dedicated theatres covering every corner of the creative and broadcast industries, with more than 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest tools, technologies and services.

Additionally, in collaboration with EventWell, MPTS will offer a SensoryCalm™ space to support attendees who may experience sensory overload or simply need a moment for wellness. This initiative reinforces MPTS’s commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.

Charlotte Wheeler, director of MPTS, stated: “Each year we strive to evolve MPTS to reflect the needs of our audience, and for our tenth year, we will see some of our most exciting developments yet. From the launch of the Content Creator Stage and live podcast studio, to the addition of a new upstairs bar and networking spaces, we are creating an environment designed to inspire creativity, collaboration and connection.

“Partnering with FMC to bring Post Production World Conference Europe to London for the first time further cements MPTS as the destination for anyone working across media production, post, and technology in Europe.”
