Leaders of Tomorrow is a three-year inclusion programme, supporting mid-level, freelance HETV crew


ScreenSkills is hosting a webinar on Monday, 7 July, for applicants to its Leaders of Tomorrow scheme.

The free-to-attend session runs from 18.30 for one hour, marking the recruitment launch.

Leaders of Tomorrow is a three-year inclusion programme, supporting mid-level, freelance HETV crew, with the webinar designed to explain what makes an ideal applicant.

Attendees will hear from one of the Leaders of Tomorrow programme alumni and there will be a Q&A. The speakers include producer Suzanne Reid; hair and make-up designer Annie Little and Aleysha Minns-McGrath, who runs the HETV Leaders of Tomorrow programme.

Leaders of Tomorrow is supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from HETV productions made in the UK. Applications for the programme will open on Monday evening, once the webinar has concluded.

This event will be interpreted into British Sign Language (BSL) and live Zoom captioning will be available.  

To submit an application for Leaders of Tomorrow you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Are currently working as a mid-level freelancer, with at least two high-end TV credits.
  • Have a senior industry professional who has agreed to be listed on their application as a nominator
  • Are committed to advancing into leadership positions in the future
  • Live and work in the UK
  • Please note: This is not a programme for entry-level candidates.
