Patchway Studios partners with The Story Works

Patchway Studios hosted filming on ITV X’s Arthurian drama The Winter King
Patchway Studios in Bristol is partnering with The Story Works in Mortlake, London, as part of a new collaboration.
Patchway Studios is well-known for having hosted a lengthy shoot on Arthurian drama The Winter King (ITVX), while The Story Works was home to the hefty, seven-month shoot on Disney+’s period drama A Thousand Blows.
The new partnership is essentially an extension of the offering for both studios, allowing the studio managers to offer producers the option of all the advantages of filming in the capital, or shooting in the south-west, with regional benefits including lower costs and different locations.
Simon Vaughan, founder, The Story Works, said: “With Patchway and The Story Works, producers can scale their vision with full operational flexibility”.
Zach Duthie of Patchway added: “This partnership empowers producers to create without compromise, offering the flexibility to work on location in either London or Bristol. Together, they give producers the best of both worlds.”
The combined offering – the two studios are 75 minutes apart – would provide productions with four sound stages (two at each site) totalling 60,000 sq ft. Patchway is BAFTA albert-certified.
