Congratulations to Sunday night’s winners and nominees at the 2012 BAFTA Television Awards.

An Appropriate Adult picked up three gongs beating the likes of Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch and This is England ‘88’s Vicky McClure. Other winners included the supernatural drama for BBC3 The Fades for best drama series and Mrs Brown’s Boys for best situation comedy. The factual series award was picked up by BBC3's Our War and the compelling Mummifying Alan: Egypt’s Last Secret walked away with the specialist factual award.

In the world of entertainment Derren Brown: The Experiments won best entertainment programme, whilst Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle won best comedy programme. Near-the-knuckle Celebrity Juice took home the YouTube audience award, voted entirely by members of the public, proving that popularity for the panel show has no signs of diminishing.
