Liam Neeson to film in Belfast
Liam Neeson and Lesley Manville are set to star in Normal People, a film due to shoot in Belfast in July.
The feature is written by Owen McCafferty and will be directed by Lisa Barros D’Sa and Glenn Leyburn.
The pair have directed together before, with 2013’s comedy drama Good Vibrations being their best-known collaboration.
As first reported on Deadline, the producers of Normal People are Piers Tempest of Tempo Productions, David Holmes (better known as a composer, with whom the directing duo run Canderblinks Film and Music) and Brian J Falconer of Out of Orbit.

Manville is due to film the third series of BBC Two’s gentle comedy Mum later this year, while Neeson has finished roles in Steve McQueen’s Widows and the Rocky Mountains-set Hard Powder.
