Stanley Tucci boards zombie thriller
The former Doctor, and star of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Matt Smith, may be used to battling predatory mutants, but can we say the same for Fortitude star Stanley Tucci and Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer?
The three A-listers are starring in Patient Zero, an action thriller in which a global pandemic of a virulent, and seemingly unstoppable, strain of rabies has produced a species of aggressive mutants.
With only one human who can communicate with them the race is on to find a cure and save mankind… Â
The feature is currently in pre-production at a major studio, and comes from production company Screen Gems.
Director Stefan Ruzowitzky is calling the shots from a screenplay by Mike Le, and Vincent Newman is set to produce.Â
