New historical drama for Channel 4: From Production Intelligence
Channel 4 are planning a follow up to their hugely successful historical drama, written by Peter Flannery, The Devil’s Whore.
This new four part series, written by Peter Flannery and Martine Brant, New World, will concentrate on the fortunes of Angelica Fanshawe, now the Countess of Abingdon with a young daughter; it is set during the Restoration.
Company Pictures are the shingle behind the project, slated for production next March.
