One of the world’s top creative ad agencies, BBH,has sold a controlling interest in its business to Publicis

According to reports, the deal will mean a £100 million windfall for around 50 members of staff, with founders Nigel Bogle and John Hegarty among the biggest beneficiaries of the deal.

Publicis has held a 49% stake in BBH for a decade. The outstanding 51% is reported to have cost it around £200m.

BBH has won many plaudits down the years - with its ads for Lynx and Levis among its most iconic and recognisable work. Despite change in ownership structure, BBH is not expecting any interference in the day to day running of the business.
