About Us

Garden Studios was established in February 2020 and is the largest-scale film studio in central London with a total footprint of 300,173 sq. ft.

We house five sound stages totalling 48,025 sq. ft., with the largest offering at 23,350 sq. ft, additional sound-treated stages, two virtual production stages one of 3186 sq. ft, with a 12 x 4m LED volume and the other 7815 sq. ft with a 26 x 4.5m LED volume (in partnership with Anna Valley) both with wet hire and three virtual production training rooms.

Supporting spaces include production offices, workshops, green rooms, costume, and hair & makeup rooms, private meeting pods that overlook our canalside, and parking. Garden Studios was built with our values deeply embedded in the fabric of our studio. We prioritise sustainability, inclusivity, education, innovation, and accessibility. We’re still on a journey to reach all our sustainability goals but are proud to say that we have achieved B Corp™ certification and that we’re taking part in the Albert Studio Sustainability Standard, BAFTA’s film studio sustainability certification.

Being a positive force in our local community is important to us and we try to achieve that through educational programs, internships, a local artist-in-residence initiative, free use of studio space for local young talent, and The Hive, a shared workspace for local artists and makers which offers podcast, vodcast, and photography studios.

GARDEN STUDIOS NOW CERTIFIED AS A B CORPORATION®

Garden Studios: Driving Positive Change in the Film and TV Studio Industry.

(August 8, 2023) – Garden Studios, a pioneer in the film and TV studio industry, today announced that it has achieved B Corp™ Certification. This recognition positions the company amongst a global community of businesses committed to high standards of social and environmental impact, transparency, accountability, and the transformation of the global economic system.

“Becoming a B Corp™ signifies our ambition to not just being the best in the world, but the best for the world,” said Julie Hoegh, Head of Sustainability. “By aligning our business practices with our core values, we join a group of inspiring companies that lead the transformation towards a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.”

B Corp™ Certification is a rigorous process managed by B Lab, a non-profit organisation that serves the global community of people using businesses as a force for good. The certification verifies that a company meets B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact and has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance. Certified B Corps are required to undertake the assessment and verification process every three years, demonstrating continuous improvement and commitment to B Lab’s evolving standards.

Garden Studios’ B Corp™ status reflects its commitment to the environment, innovation, and social responsibility. The company has prioritised environmental stewardship, with robust initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint, promote energy efficiency, and support sustainability in the film and TV studio industry.

” B Corp™ Certification does not mean a company is perfect, but it signifies a commitment to ongoing improvement and collective action,” said Thomas Hoegh, Garden Studios Founder and CEO. “We’re proud to join this dynamic community of forward-thinking businesses, and we humbly take the challenge to push further and drive positive changes together.”
