With high profile productions basing themselves at the studio, 2012 has seen us going from strength to strength. We’ve enjoyed being part of ‘Crime Stories,’ broadcast on ITV by Fremantle Media, a brand new Channel 4 comedy ‘Anna & Katy,’ produced by Ash Atella & Rough Cut and we were delighted to welcome back Hat Trick with ‘Spy’ for a second series produced here at Wimbledon.

Both our sound stages are currently occupied by some more big name productions in the comedy world including The BBC’s ‘Inside Number 9,’ and the second series of ‘This is Jinsy.’ This success has drawn attention from some big names in the industry which we are incredibly proud of.

If that wasn’t enough, our sets have also seen host to the likes of Misfits, Derren Brown, Ant and Dec and none other than Pop superstar Cheryl Cole shooting her video for hit single ‘Under the Sun.’

NEW AND IMPROVED
We’re thrilled to announce the instillation of a brand new lighting rig in Stage 2 which has been designed in a way that means virtually every inch of the 8,000 sq. foot stage can be lit. This follows upgrades to both studios which are now recognised as sound proofed for both TV and Film recordings.
Anchor Tenants Decode have just installed a superb infinity curve into their production complex and I urge everyone to take the time to pop in and check out their great facilities.
NEW MEDIA VILLAGERS
Our community of creative businesses in our Media Village continues to grow with production company ‘The Last Word’ moving into the Atrium; a 2,000 sq. foot Atrium split level office. 5th Weapon Studios, who are developing a slate of films, ‘The Finishing Factory,’ who offer fantastic editing facilities, ‘Watchmaker Films’ who specialise in film restoration and we want to welcome renowned script writers Alex and Rachel Holmes of ‘AHH Films’ topping of the high calibre creative based on site. With occupancy level exceeding 95%, I’m excited to announce we are already looking into extending the Media Village with a brand new second floor, so watch this office space!

SAVE THE DATES
We have a ton of events coming up, which will be kicked off with the return of the Media Village networking event on Thursday 29th November which will be a great platform for our creatives to meet the productions presently on site, but is strictly by invitation, so look out for your invite soon! Also keep Friday 14th December clear for the studios Christmas party which will take place at the Common Inn pub on the street set. We have loads of plans to make this year go out with a bang so keep an eye out for your invite to some really exciting events with some creative people and festive fun!
