The highly successful French drama series, Les Revenants, is to be adapted in the English language by writer/producer Paul Abbott”s production company, AbbottVision.

The original supernatural thriller was made by Haut et Court for Canal+, and centred on the residents of a small Alpine village.

The working title for the new version is They Came Back, which will be written and produced by Paul Abbott.

FremantleMedia Enterprises have bought the rights and will have a first look deal with AbbottVision. A summer shoot is in the frame.
