The Mill Creates Ticking Croc For Sky’s Neverland

One happy beneficiary of Sky”s increased investment in original content is Soho-based post-production house The Mill, which has created the famous ticking crocodile for Sky”s upcoming Peter Pan prequel Neverland (TX July 8-9).

The 4 hour miniseries is written and directed by Nick Willing, with whom The Mill collaborated last year on SyFy’;s Alice.  Filmed on location in Genoa and Dublin, the film delves into the history of iconic characters such as The Lost Boys, Captain Hook and The Indians. The Mill created a number of key VFX to help drive the pace and excitement of the production, including the Captain Hook obsessed croc.

Will Cohen, Group Director of Mill TV & Film said: “It is a pleasure to be working once again with Nick Willing and helping bring his imaginative take on this classic tale to life.  Our visual effects team certainly had their work cut out, but we love a challenge and couldn’;t wait to get stuck in.”
