Trade Bodies PACT and UK Screen are joining forces to run a workshop aimed at helping producers save money. Dubbed the Values Technique Workshop it will examine some of technical choices and production methods that just might combat the threat of shrinking UK production budgets.

As in previous workshops, examples will be used from real productions to bring the workshop to life. The main topics headings are: how to evaluate alternative workflows, identifying the pitfalls of each technology, communicating the plan, a saving too far, old-fashioned techniques, can new technologies deliver solutions, talk is cheap – get advice, when a plan is good, why change it?
