Millie Bobby Brown films Damsel at new UK studio

Damsel, a new Netflix fantasy feature starring Millie Bobby Brown, begins filming this week at new London facility, Troubadour Meridian Water Studios.
Brown also exec produces Damsel; Juan Carlos Fresnadillo directs from a screenplay by Wrath of the Titans scribe Dan Mazeau. The film centres on Princess Elodie, who believes she is going to marry Prince Henry, but is actually being lined up as a sacrifice for a dragon…
The feature is from Brown”s production company PCMA and Roth/Kirschenbaum Films; Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum produce. The executive producers are Brown, Roth, Chris Castaldi and writer Mazeau.
Damsel is the latest project in Brown”s canon of Netflix collaborations – she has recently finished filing Enola Holmes 2 for the SVoD.
Troubadour Meridian Water Studios is a new complex comprising around 155,000 sq ft, including three sound stages, production hub and workshop space. It is situated in Enfield, north London.
Troubadour has also signed a three-year lease with Argent Related and Barnet Council to open a second studio, on the site of a former Toys ‘R” Us building in Brent Cross.
