Bianca Gavin re-elected chair of Production Guild

Gavin is head of scripted production at Pulse Films
Bianca Gavin has been re-elected to the board of The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB) for another four-year term; also as chair.
The news was confirmed by new PGGB CEO Kaye Elliott following the organisation’s AGM last night (23 July). Gavin is head of production, scripted, at Pulse Films.

Elliott also confirmed that producer Brian Donovan will once again take a seat on the board following his previous four-year tenure, and Bertie Spiegelberg, manager, physical production (UK & European studio film) Netflix (pictured, left) has been newly elected to join the board.
Elliott, who took up her role as PGGB CEO just a couple of weeks ago (16 July 2025) said: “We absolutely know that continuing to provide a platform for our members and partners to meet, learn, share experiences and knowledge, question, guide and support each other is at the very heart of what you want.
“In this new role at the helm of PGGB, I can assure you that we can and will continue to deliver that for you, with a refreshed vision.”
Elliott acknowledged that despite the challenges PGGB and the industry as a whole have faced over the last year because of a slower than anticipated green light on productions of scale, and uncertainty around budget levels, the industry is seeing a renewed pick-up in the pace of UK filming and reassured PGGB members that “there is renewed optimism ahead.”
The PGGB’s executive committee comprises Gavin, vice chairs Debbie Vertue and John Graydon and treasurer, Lara Sargent.
