PGGB confirms new CEO

Kaye Elliott replaces Lyndsay Duthie, who stepped down in January
The Production Guild of Great Britain’s (PGGB) new CEO is Kaye Elliott, who will take up the role in mid-July.
Elliott joins PGGB from ScreenSkills where she is currently director of high-end television (HETV) setting the strategy and overseeing all aspects of HETV industry investment in skills support for UK freelancers and production companies.
Elliott replaces Lyndsay Duthie, who stepped down in January 2025. Deputy CEO, Michael Beavan said, “Kaye has an impressive track record and is both respected and well-known in the field of HETV. The vision she brings as new CEO will help shape PGGB’s continued growth and development and create a healthy balance between its roots in film with the vital role HETV plays in our future production landscape.”
Bianca Gavin, PGGB’s chair, added on behalf of the PGGB board: “We are thrilled to welcome Kaye to PGGB as our new CEO. Her exceptional leadership, vision, and industry insight make her the perfect fit for this role. Kaye’s strong commitment to championing UK industry talent aligns perfectly with our mission and ethos, and we are excited for her to lead the organisation into the future.
“We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Michael Beavan for his outstanding dedication and direction as interim CEO. With Kaye’s appointment, we look forward to an exciting new chapter, strengthened by their combined expertise.”
Prior to her role at ScreenSkills, Elliott was deputy director of partnerships and head of production Services at Creative England.
Elliott said of her new role: “I’m honoured to be stepping into the role of CEO at The Production Guild of Great Britain at a time of both opportunity and change for the industry. The Guild’s members are its greatest asset—skilled, experienced professionals who underpin the success of UK production.
“This next chapter will be shaped by their insight and ambition. I’m excited and committed to bring my passion for the industry and work with the team and the Board to build on the Guild’s strong foundations to grow and strategically support its members, influence policy, and ultimately strengthen the UK’s global production leadership’.
