The trailer for the much-anticipated One Chance has been released, with James Corden starring as Paul Potts.

The trailer features a ‘potted’ (ahem) run through of the seemingly heartwarming film, telling the rags-to-riches tale of modest opera-singing mobile phone salesman Paul Potts who found fame as the winner of the first ever Britain’s Got Talent in 2007.

From the juggernaut that is Simon Cowell’s Syco TV and Hollywood production company Relevant Entertainment, the film has got family-friendly hit written all over it. And having Harvey Weinstein on board can’t hurt. Add to the mix Julie Walters, Colm Meaney and Mackenzie Crook, throw in some beautiful Venetian locations, and producers will no doubt be able to sit back and count the box office receipts.

The film was shot at Ealing Studios in October last year, and is directed by David ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Frankel.
