The Killing Kind

The latest original UK drama commission for Paramount+’s burgeoning slate, The Killing Kind, has begun filming at the Bottle Yard Studios and on location in Bristol with the assistance of The Bristol Film Office. Filming will later move to London

Sony Pictures Television-backed Eleventh Hour Films produces the 6 x 45 drama, which is based on Jane Casey’s best-seller; it stars Emma Appleton and Colin Morgan.

Paula Cuddy, Eve Gutierrez and Jill Green exec-produce alongside Casey, working with lead director and writer Zara Hayes and writer Jonathan A.H Stewart.

The drama is part of Paramount+’s strategy to commission 150 international originals by 2025, and joins the streamer’s busy production slate that currently includes A Gentleman in Moscow, a Sexy Beast prequel series and The Burning Girls.
