Elizabeth is Missing begins filming in Scotland
Filming starts in Scotland this week on Elizabeth is Missing starring Glenda Jackson.
The feature-length drama has been adapted by Andrea Gibb from Emma Healey’s novel and combines a mystery plot with an exploration of one woman’s struggle with dementia.
When her best friend Elizabeth goes missing, Maud is certain that something terrible has happened and sets out to solve the mystery, but as her dementia worsens, her search takes on more urgency.
Aisling Walsh directs with Chrissy Skins producing. The executive producers are Sarah Brown and Andrea Gibb for STV Productions and Gaynor Holmes for BBC One.
Filming also got underway this week on The Third Day, a major new drama starring Jude Law that marks the first project from Sky’s new production arm, Sky Studios.
