Weekday spin-off for Saturday Kitchen Live
BBC One daytime is taking its Saturday cooking show to a weekday format that will run Monday-Friday for a fortnight from 13 April.
Daily Kitchen Live will provide recipes and tips for those trying to manage at home with limited budgets and food resources during the lockdown period.
The Cactus TV show will hosted by chef Matt Tebbutt (pictured) from the Saturday Kitchen Live set; Tebbutt will be joined by Jack Monroe, journalist and author of Tin Can Cook and Cooking On A Bootstrap.
Monroe said: “The way some of us cook has changed dramatically over the last few weeks, and rustling up nutritious, no-nonsense dinners in the current climate can be a challenge - but it's incredibly important!
"I'll be giving simple ingredient swaps, conjuring up recipes from whatever you may have in your cupboard and taking questions from viewers. I can't wait to get started!”
