BBC Two BBC Two has announced a new programme fronted by Gareth Malone in which he will connect amateur and professional singers who are in isolation around the country.

The choirmaster will present The Great British Home Chorus, as he will bring together keen singers who are unable to perform together physically during the period of lockdown and self-isolation.

Twenty Twenty is making the show; the executive producers are Amanda Westwood and Richard Mills.

Also on the corporation’s slate of programming that has been designed around the current restrictions is BBC One’s entertainment show Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer from Fulwell 73

The sports, music and comedy show will see Crouch presenting archive sports footage and interviewing celebrity guests, with Maya Jama and Alex Horne, to fill the gap left by cancelled music and sporting events.
