Registration open for MPTS 2020

MPTS The Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) will take place on 13 and 14 May this year, at Olympia London, West Halls. Registration for the event is now open.

Now in its fifth year, the 2020 event will be the biggest yet, with a range of new industry partnerships.

With 7,000 members, SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) will curate a number of sessions for the NEW Technology Theatre.

The DPP (Digital Production Partnership), which has over 400 members from across the supply chain, will have its own theatre at MPTS, exploring the biggest trends impacting the industry.

Mojo Fest, the world's longest-running professional smartphone content creator's festival, will be co-located at MPTS, featuring its own stage and exhibition area.

There will be a variety of themed spaces and auditoria, including the Keynote Theatre, the Audio Theatre, the Production & Lighting Theatre and the Broadcast Sport Zone, which has doubled in size for this year’s event.

A range of around 220 industry experts and thought-leaders will be speaking over the two days, with debates, panel discussions and masterclasses across a broad range of topics.

There will be more than 180 exhibitors on the show floor, demonstrating the latest in technological developments and providing insights into screen sector trends.

Event director Charlotte Wheeler said: “The production, craft, and creative elements that have made the show such a success over recent years remain central to our focus. That hasn’t changed, nor will it; it’s written into the show’s DNA.

“But by adding a further technology element to the show we are able to grow it and make it an even better arena for telling the entire and continually evolving story of the current TV, film, broadcast, and media markets.”
