Bath provides setting for new crime drama

Bath Filming begins next month in Bath on Invisible, a new crime drama from the producers of Poldark and Victoria.

Jason Watkins and Tala Gouveia star in the Mammoth Screen production, due to be delivered to ITV as two feature-length episodes.

Watkins plays the mild-mannered and modest DS Dodds who is paired with Gouveia’s tough and ambitious DCI McDonald.

Robert Murphy, best-known for DCI Banks, is the lead writer. He also executive produces alongside Preethi Mavahalli and Damien Timmer for Mammoth Screen.

Richard Senior directs the first episode.

Mammoth Screen is also in prep on The Pale Horse, the latest in the BBC's series of adaptations of Agatha Christie mysteries, and the seventh series of Endeavour. The company is also in production on The Serpent, starring Tahar Rahim, for BBC One and Netflix.
