Helen Mirren preps filming in the UK
Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen are in the UK preparing to film their lead roles in The Good Liar for New Line Cinema and Bron Studios.
The feature is directed by Bill Condon – who also produces with Greg Yolen – and is adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from Nicholas Searle’s novel.
It centres on Roy (McKellen), a conman who believes his luck is in when he befriends a wealthy widow (Mirren) online.
However, what should be a straightforward swindle for the seasoned scammer becomes complicated as he develops feelings for her.
