Dark Heart sets filming dates
ITV drama Dark Heart has set shoot dates with a producer in place and HoDs readying to board.
The 6 x 60 follows a successful pilot and stars Tom Riley as DI Will Wagstaffe, a man haunted by the murder of his parents when he was 16.
Written by Chris Lang – with Ben Harris penning two of the episodes - the drama is inspired by characters created by novelist Adam Creed.
Dark Heart is the first drama from new production arm Silverprint Pictures, a label run by Kate Bartlett under the ITV umbrella. Lang executive produces alongside Bartlett with Colin Teague directing.
Production Intelligence subscribers should log in and follow Dark Heart as we will be adding HoDs to the entry as they are confirmed.
Dark Heart is one of many dramas gearing up to film this year, including Jerusalem, Pure, The Little Drummer Girl, Les Miserables, Summer of Rockets, The Cry, The Victim and The Rook.
