Doctor Foster 2 nears pre-production
The much-anticipated second series of Doctor Foster is about to enter pre-production, with cameras due to roll in September.
For delivery to BBC One, the 5 x 60 comes from Drama Republic and writer Mike Bartlett.
The first series saw Suranne Jones’ wronged GP serving a very cold form of revenge on her cheating husband, played by Bertie Carvel.
It was filmed on location around Croxley Green in Hertfordshire as well as Northwood, Hitchin, London and Chesham.
The drama garnered several awards nominations and went on to win multiple gongs including Best Mini-Series at the British Academy Television Awards.
Greg Brenman, Roanna Benn and Jude Liknaitzky return to exec produce on behalf of Drama Republic, joining writer Bartlett and Matthew Read of the BBC.
The producer, casting director and shoot dates are listed on PI, where we will be confirming more HoDs next week.
