Sally Potter’s next feature films mid-June
Principal photography on Sally Potter’s next feature, The Party, is due to begin in mid-June and run for two weeks.
The real-time film takes place over 90 minutes, and centres on a drinks party held by Janet and her husband to celebrate her promotion to Shadow Minister for Health.
The ensuing revelations throw up dangerous and potentially murderous feelings as some of the guests have to re-evaluate their entire belief systems.
Potter has been working on the feature for a couple of years; she directs from her own screenplay. The producer is Christopher Sheppard, co-founder with Potter of Adventure Pictures, along with Kurban Kassam.
Filming on The Party runs for two weeks at a London studio, details of which PI subscribers can find listed on our site along with the casting director and line producer.
