Unforgotten Series 2 sets filming date
The second series of ITV’s crime drama Unforgotten now has a date in place for the start of filming.
Produced by Mainstreet Pictures, the first series of Unforgotten starred Sanjeev Bhaskar and Nicola Walker as modern-day detectives uncovering long-forgotten secrets during a ‘cold case’ murder investigation.
“We are pleased with the audience response to Unforgotten and I am delighted to announce that it will be returning for a second series with a brand new story from the writer Chris Lang and Mainstreet Pictures, a winning formula who have kept ITV drama viewers gripped throughout the first series,” said Steve November, head of drama at ITV, when the second series commission was first announced.
