Studios and filming dates confirmed on Will
UK studios and shoot dates have been confirmed on TNT’s hefty pilot about the young William Shakespeare.
As we first reported back in November, Will is a feature length drama from Great Gatsby screenwriter and regular Baz Luhrmann collaborator Craig Pearce. The show follows the 20-something bard as he moves to London to find fame as a playwright.
The production is expected to receive the lavish, rock ‘n’ roll Pearce treatment - as he told the Sydney Morning Herald, “Theatre back then was like rock and roll. It was a completely revolutionary form of popular entertainment. It was a very intense, visceral, exciting world... full of sex and violence."
Shoot dates on Will have now been confirmed, and can be found on Production Intelligence along with the recently-verified location manager, production co-ordinator and the two UK studios that will be used for the three-week shoot. Also detailed are the names of other crucial UK hires such as the line producer and casting director.
Production Intelligence has listings for over 7,000 titles, at all stages of production. Non-subscribers can click here for a free demo, where they will be shown remotely around the site.
