Ryan Reynolds heads to film in the UK

Ryan ReynoldsHollywood A-lister Ryan Reynolds is UK-bound for his next feature film project, adding to the hefty count of big hitters heading to shoot on these shores.

The project is Hitman's Bodyguard, in which he stars alongside fellow box office draws Samuel L. Jackson and Gary Oldman. It centres on a top protection agent, played by Reynolds, whose new client - a hitman - turns out to be an old adversary. The pair are thrown together in a race against time as they have just 24 hours to reach the Hague.

Production company Millennium Films are behind the action thriller, with Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow calling the shots from Tom O'Connor's screenplay.

Shooting begins in the spring, in locations including the UK, Bulgaria and The Netherlands.
