Champagne corks are popping as we can now confirm more details on the upcoming Ab Fab: The Movie, due to shoot mid-October in London and the south of France.
The big screen incarnation of the monstrous but much loved Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone has been in the pipeline for some time, with Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley teasing bits and pieces about the plans over the last few months.
Mandie Fletcher directs from a screenplay by Saunders, who also executive produces alongside Dawn French and the pair's superagent Maureen Vincent. Julia Sawalha, Jane Horrocks and June Whitfield are expected to reprise their supporting roles.
