Trevor McDonald ad delves into his past
Well-known veteran news presenter Sir Trevor McDonald revisits some of the historic moments in his career for a new Vision Express ad.
Produced by shingle Lightbox, the spot starts with Sir Trevor standing in a park with the viewers' journey literally going through his eye and cutting to events he has witnessed.
Simon Chinn, the Oscar-winning producer behind Man on Wire and Searching for Sugar Man, produced the commercial and seems to be trying to convey the overall importance of good vision.
Chinn said: "Vision Express and their agency Dare came to us because they wanted a film which has the look and feel - and production values - of some of the feature documentaries I have produced and it was really exciting to go on this journey with them - and of course to work with the legendary Trevor McDonald."
