Tom Cruise readies for Mission: Impossible 5
Principal photography starts here in the UK in late summer on Mission: Impossible 5, the latest in the line of high-octane thrillers starring Tom Cruise.
As with that feature, Mission: Impossible 5 (MI5) will headquarter at the soon-to-be-expanded Warner Bros. Leavesden, with director Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) calling the shots from a screenplay by Drew Pearce. As with previous MI5 films, Cruise has a producer credit, this time working alongside David Ellison and Star Wars: Episode VII head honcho J.J Abrams.
Mission: impossible 5 is just the latest in this year's crop of Hollywood blockbusters filming in the UK, joining the likes of Tarzan, Pan and Through the Looking Glass , all no doubt drawn by the attractive tax reliefs and huge pool of talented crew.
