Lenny Henry on Premier locations
Hotel chain Premier Inn have launched a new £15m multi-channel advertising campaign fronted by Lenny Henry.
The TV ad made its debut on Sunday (19 January) during Mr Selfridge and is supported by press, outdoor, digital and social activity.
Created by RKCR/Y&R and planned and bought by Manning Gottlieb OMD, the ad has the added twist of focusing on outdoor locations, driving home the idea that a good night's sleep brings a feeling of serenity and wellbeing as well as the range of sites at which Premier Inns can be found.
Henry has been brand ambassador since 2008, but up until now, the focus has been on the hotels' interiors. Russell Braterman, Premier Inn Brand Marketing Director said: "It's the first time Lenny Henry has stepped outside of the hotel environment and the focus of the creative is on Lenny and his enjoyment of sleeping well. The advert sees Lenny in his Premier Inn bed, on a whistlestop tour of the UK."
