UK Green Film Festival kicks off in June
Taking place from 1-8 June is the UK Green Film Festival, celebrating environmental films by screening them across the UK. As well as screenings, the festival features guest speakers and Q&As.
Now in its third year and sponsored by Friends of the Earth, screenings will comprise 7 features and 7 shorts, showing in over 50 screens in 15 cities – including London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Inverness.
In association with Picturehouse Cinemas, the line-up includes the UK premiere of Oscar-nominated director Markus Imhoof’s More than Honey (a look at the world’s bee crisis) and Trashed, featuring Jeremy Irons (who also exec produced the project), about waste and the environment.
