Channel 4 logoPre-production is underway on a shiny new sitcom for Channel 4, London Irish, with filming due to run from late June to early August.

From Company Pictures, the 6 x 30 comedy centres on a community of Northern Irish twenty-somethings, all now living in London. London Irish follows the four hard-drinking friends as they try to make their way in the capital, all the time contending with rubbish jobs and permanent hangovers.

The series comes from Irish writer Lisa McGee and is executive produced by Liz Lewin and Caroline Leddy. Lewin also produces alongside Andrea Dewsbery. Director Tom Marshall is also on board, as is line producer Rachel Salter.
