Ad news: Crispin Porter & Bogusky hires Adam Kean

  • News

Advertising agency Crispin Porter & Bogusky (CP+B), whose clients include Dominos and Microsoft Windows, has hired Adam Kean as creative director. Kean will start on 15 April and will work alongside Matt Gooden and Ben Walker.

Kean - who has eight D&AD pencils as a writer under his belt - started his career in 1987 at Saatchi & Saatchi, and became joint executive creative director in 1995. He then worked at Wieden and Kennedy for a year, before joining Publicis as executive creative director for four years, until he left in 2012.

Founded in 1988, CP+B describes itself as a “cross between a big idea shop and a technology start-up with an unprecedented record for creating work that has a lasting impact on pop-culture and the digital marketing industry”.

The agency’s most recent ad was for bookmaker Paddy Power, launched on 30 March as part of the ‘We Hear You’ campaign. The 30-second ‘Tip Tracker Psychic’ spot discourages punters from listening to dodgy tips – from a man in the pub to a mystic – and instead encourages them to take part in its Grand National offer.
