Great Wall of Comedy: From Production Intelligence
STV Productions are gearing up to film Jo Brand’s Great Wall of Comedy, a new chat show uncovering stories and secrets behind comedy performers.
Hosted by Jo Brand, the 5 x 30 series for UKTV’s Gold will feature Barry Cryer and Rebecca Front alongside Brand, who each week will be joined by a sitcom star. Together, they will trawl through the archives to reveal little known facts about the nation’s favourite comics.

We are sure the combination of comedy talent headed by Jo, mixed with the fun of a chat show and filled with eye opening anecdotes from a line-up of comedy stars, will make this a hit with viewers.”
Gary Chippington will executive produce and Jo Bunting will series produce for STV. Matt Nida is producer and Geraldine Down will direct.
Filming will take place at the end of the month at Maidstone Studios.
