International film buyers will once again flock to the capital for the London UK Film Focus (LUFF), taking place from 24 – 27 June 2013. The four day event aims to promote British talent, films and companies to the international marketplace.

Now in its tenth year, the event attracts over 120 film buyers and last year generated nearly £5.5m worth of sales.

The event, which will take place at the BFI Southbank, will also be hosting its Breakthrough strand. Currently open for applications, Breakthrough offers emerging British filmmakers a platform to seek sales representation. To be considered, filmmakers must have recently completed a feature length project of theatrical quality ready for June 2013 (with predominantly British content, cast or production team). The deadline for applications is 21 March 2013.

Developed and led by Film London, LUFF is produced in partnership with the BFI, the Mayor of London, Film Export UK and UK Trade & Investment.
