Ian Dodd and David Klafkowski have been named as Joint MDs of post-production house The Farm, effective 1st Jan 2013. They take over day to day responsibility from The Farm’s founders Nicky Sargent & Vikki Dunn, who will become co-chairs of the Group.

Klafkowski, The Farm’s group technical director, and Dodd, director of production, have been with the company since it launched in 1998. During that time The Farm has grown to be one of the most successful post-production facilities in Soho – and has also expanded its operations in Los Angeles and Salford’s MediaCityUK.

Earlier in the month, Sargent and Dunn’s achievement in growing The Farm was acknowledged when they won the Barclays Corporate Business Award at the Women in Film and TV Awards.

Commenting on that award, WFTV's CEO Kate Kinninmont said: "This Award celebrates women of talent, drive and commercial acumen. Nicky Sargent and Vikki Dunn demonstrate all these qualities in abundance. Their company is well run, financially successful, artistically distinguished. Everybody who works there rates them highly, as does the industry. More power to them!"

Since its inception, The Farm Group has contributed to many hundreds of thousands of primetime programming hours both in the UK and internationally. It has received an Emmy, 9 RTS awards and 5 BAFTA TV Craft Awards for its high calibre of work.
